Toyota Corolla Recovered from Super Highway in 18 Minutes

Toyota Corolla Recovered from Super Highway in 18 Minutes

A customer's Corolla was stolen from PECHS, Karachi. The engine was killed remotely, leading to a swift recovery.

At 2:40 AM on a Friday, the customer received an automated alert on their mobile app stating their vehicle's engine had started. Knowing they were asleep, they immediately checked the app and saw the car moving toward the Karachi-Hyderabad M9 Motorway.

The customer called our 24/7 emergency control room at 2:43 AM. Our operator immediately verified the customer's identity and checked the live tracker position. The vehicle was travelling at 95 km/h near Toll Plaza.

With the customer's authorization, the operator activated the remote engine cutoff command. The vehicle decelerated safely and stalled near the M9 Highway. Our emergency team coordinated with the Highway Police, sharing the precise coordinates. By 2:58 AM (exactly 18 minutes after the initial alert), the vehicle was recovered completely intact, and the suspect was apprehended.

Honda Civic Retrieved from Hub Border (Balochistan)

Honda Civic Retrieved from Hub Border (Balochistan)

Thieves cut the vehicle's main battery to disable alarms, but the tracker's backup battery foil their plan.

A Honda Civic was stolen from North Nazimabad. The thieves, being experienced, immediately drove the car to a quiet street and snipped the main car battery cables, believing this would disable the GPS tracker and car alarm.

However, the ESS-TRACK device immediately sent a "Main Power Disconnection" alert to our servers, powered on its high-capacity internal lithium backup battery, and entered silent tracking mode. The control room team noticed the power drop and dispatched a local recovery crew while alerting the police border checkpoints at Hub (Karachi-Balochistan border).

As the vehicle approached the border, the backup battery was still broadcasting coordinates. The recovery team and police blocked the road, retrieved the car, and arrested the lifters before the car could be disassembled.

Hijacked Delivery Fleet Foil in PECHS, Block 6

Hijacked Delivery Fleet Foil in PECHS, Block 6

A corporate client's commercial vehicle was hijacked. Our team used Geo-Fence breach alerts to intercept the vehicle.

A commercial delivery van carrying electronics worth millions was hijacked during its PECHS route. The driver was forced out. Because the vehicle moved outside its pre-approved operational area (Geo-Fence), the system instantly flagged it as a breach.

Our commercial tracking division contacted the fleet manager to verify the route deviation. Realizing a hijacking had occurred, the remote engine cutoff was engaged. The van came to a halt inside a crowded market street, forcing the hijackers to flee the vehicle. The cargo and vehicle were fully recovered.

Toyota Corolla Recovered in 25 Minutes Near Hyderabad Toll Plaza

A client's 2023 Toyota Corolla was stolen from outside a shopping mall in Latifabad. Thanks to real-time tracking and immediate control room response, the vehicle was intercepted at the Hyderabad toll plaza before the thieves could exit the city.

Incident: At 11:42 PM, our control room received an unauthorized movement alert for a 2023 Toyota Corolla registered to Mr. Imran Siddiqui of Latifabad, Hyderabad. The vehicle had been parked in the basement of a local shopping mall.

Response: Our operator immediately called Mr. Siddiqui, confirmed he was not in the vehicle, and activated the remote tracking protocol. Simultaneously, our team contacted the Hyderabad Highway Patrol with live GPS coordinates updated every 15 seconds.

Recovery: The vehicle was located at the Hyderabad toll plaza at 12:07 AM — exactly 25 minutes after the initial alert. Both suspects were apprehended by Highway Patrol. The vehicle was returned to Mr. Siddiqui in perfect condition with no damage.

Client Statement: "I never thought I would see my car again. ESS-TRACK's team was faster than I could have imagined. The police were already waiting at the toll when the thieves arrived."

Honda Civic Recovered Within 4 Hours After Karachi Carjacking

Honda Civic Recovered Within 4 Hours After Karachi Carjacking

A carjacking incident in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi left a family stranded at night. ESS-TRACK's control room activated engine-kill and tracking protocols that led to a successful police recovery near the Super Highway.

Incident: At 9:15 PM, Mr. Khalid Rehman and his family were carjacked at a traffic signal in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The suspects forced the family out of a 2021 Honda Civic at gunpoint and fled.

Response: Mr. Rehman called our emergency helpline within minutes. Our team activated the GPS tracking feed and issued an engine cooling alert — a scheduled slow deactivation to prevent dangerous sudden stops at high speed. The vehicle was tracked moving towards the M-9 Motorway.

Recovery: Working with the Motorway Police, the vehicle was stopped at Km 15 of the M-9 Super Highway. The engine-shutdown had caused the car to stall, and the suspects were arrested. The Honda Civic was recovered with all belongings intact.

Client Statement: "My children were terrified. But within hours we had our car back and the police had the criminals in custody. ESS-TRACK is worth every rupee."

Fleet of 3 Delivery Vans Recovered After Organized Theft Ring Dismantled

Fleet of 3 Delivery Vans Recovered After Organized Theft Ring Dismantled

A corporate client operating a pharmaceutical distribution fleet had three vans stolen over two nights. ESS-TRACK's coordinated tracking data was instrumental in identifying the theft ring's warehouse location.

Incident: MedEx Distributors Pvt. Ltd., a long-standing ESS-TRACK corporate client, reported two Toyota HiAce vans stolen from their facility in SITE Industrial Area over two consecutive nights in July 2024. A third van was taken 48 hours later from a delivery point in Orangi Town.

Response: Our fleet management team began monitoring all three GPS signals. While two vehicles had their devices disabled (a known tactic where thieves destroy the tracker), one van retained partial signal before going dark. Our team triangulated the last known positions, identifying a common geographic pattern pointing to an industrial warehouse in Baldia Town.

Recovery: After sharing our detailed movement analysis with FIA's vehicular crime unit, a raid on the Baldia Town location recovered all three vans along with seven other stolen vehicles belonging to different owners. A theft ring of four individuals was dismantled. All vehicles were recovered with cargo intact.

Client Statement: "The data ESS-TRACK provided was more useful than anything we had. Their analysis directly led to the warehouse being raided. We've since upgraded our entire fleet to the Platinum package."
